We are happy to cater for vegetarians and other special dietary needs and pride ourselves on our reputation for really good food.

Set yourself up for the day with a traditional Cumbrian farmhouse breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes, black pudding, haggis and fried soda scone.

You can also choose from a range of fruit juices, cereals, fresh fruit, porage (served with local honey, cream and Drambuie) and home-baked bread served with local marmalade, preserves and traditionally-made butter.

Or try one of our specialities - Fried Egg Bread with a cream cheese and orange filling, ideal for vegetarians, or creamy scrambled egg with smoked salmon or haddock.
