The Flux Chair is a unique design chair that transforms from a flat package with a handle into a design chair and back again.
In our current space conscious world the concept of the Flux Chair is beautifully simple. With just 2 folds you can create a fabulous looking chair, which when those folds are reversed becomes a flat envelope shape that can be easily stored away. Fully tested to hold up to 160kg, you can be sure that this chair is as sturdy as it is stylish.
Introduced to market in 2011 the Flux Chair has received much critical acclaim. Awards include Excellence in Product Design at the 2011 New York International Gift Fair, plus Grand Designs 'Product of the Year' 2011.
The Flux Chair flat packed is 85cm wide by 77cm deep and only 1.5cm high
(approx 33.4 inches x 30.3 inches and 0.6 inches high)
When constructed the Flux Chair is 62cm wide by 85cm deep and 64cm high
(approx 24.4 inches x 33.5 inches and 25.2 inches high)

Available in 8 different colours the Flux Chair cleverly combines the practical advantages of foldable furniture with the looks of a classic design chair. The Flux Chair wall mount lets you store up to six chairs flat against the wall. Pull the strap to easily flatten the chair after use.
Made from polypropylene the Flux Chair is lightweight and easy to clean.
Designed by Douwe Jacobs and Tom Schouten the name Flux is a reference to the words flexible and luxury.
