MD1500 Sure Safe Exterior Play Tiles

High quality re-cycled fine Rubber crumb play tile. For use in outside play areas and must be bonded onto a firm concrete or pavior substrate. It is paramount these tiles are laid correctly to enable them to be used where CFH (Critical Fall Height) is required. Rubber tiles are sensitive to changes in climatic conditions and will expand and contract considerably. Sticking them down firmly to a solid substrate with a proprietary tile adhesive will help to prevent curling and shrinkage, which can cause potential hazards.

Adhesive should be applied to all the feet on the underside of the tile or 100 of the base of a flat-backed tile (not the concrete substrate).
Rubber tiles should not be installed on new concrete as alkaline in the cement will cause a blue discolouration in the tile.

Rubber tiles may release carbon black. This is a natural result of tiles made from recycle tyres.
