Description
Bondstrand 2400 and 3400 are glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipe systems which can be manufactured to meet specific internal operating pressures be it 10, 16, 20, 25, 32 or 50 bar. Utilising filament winding techniques the wall thickness of the pipe is increased inline with pressure rating (2425 denoting a 25 bar rated system).
Bondstrand 2425 and 3425 are filament wound GRE pipe systems from 2" - 40" (50 - 1000mm) with a taper/taper adhesive bonded joint with a maximum operating pressure of 25 bar (362psi).

The main feature of GRE is Corrosion Resistance. GRE is highly resistant to both internal and external corrosion without the need for any surface preparation or special coatings. As standard products Bondstrand 2425 and 3425 are designed with a 25 year design life during which they require very little maintenance resulting in substantial savings to through life costs.
