Head chef Stewart Smillie has now been a head chef in the local area for over 5 years which has allowed him to source out the very best of the local produce and put them together on our traditional pub menu. This has given him an outstanding reputation within the local community and beyond. Now working with our up and coming chef Stephen Hull they are both consistently producing top quality food at a great price that has people coming back again and again.
All tastes and appetites are catered for with our main menu running along side our 'smaller portions' menu, and during the day a lunchtime menu is also available. If this isn't enough then we also have a specials board that changes daily. So, whether its Cumberland sausage from Burrows of Silverdale Butchers, our mushroom and blue cheese Pepperpot made with cheese from Garstang, or any of our fresh fish specials made with fish supplied by Lakeland Seafood, we are sure that you will be satisfied, but don't take our word for it, come and try our menu for yourself.
