Description
Most of our walking holidays are self-guided - that is to say that we provide you with the main ingredients but that you walking dependently using a mixture of route notes, maps and waymarks(depending on the walk in question). In most cases you choose the day you wish to start and we book it for you subject to accommodation availability.
In our self-guided holidays we usually include the following:
Accommodation with breakfast Some meals (varies with the destination) Luggage transportation on walking days Route instructions and/or maps Local emergency back-up: - in most cases we work with local individuals or small companies that specialise in the area in question. They can be contacted in the event of a significant problem.
We sometimes include transfers from arrival airport to the first overnight stop. If not, we can often arrange them at extra cost.
Self-guided walking holidays are aimed at independent people. However, in many cases you do not need to be particularly fit or adventurous to enjoy our holidays. Please contact us if in any doubt.
