Antique William IV Mahogany Tea Table - Games Table
This stunning antique William IV mahogany tea table / games table / card table ca 1835 has a beautiful beaded moulded top which swivels revealing a concealed games compartment and opens to double in size. The top unfolds to reveal a beautifully figured interior. The antique card table has a deep frieze again with a beautifully beaded, moulded edge and the table stands on a shaped central pedestal with acanthus leaf carved centre and a quadriform base with beautifully turned lobed bun feet and brass castors. This beautiful piece of antique furniture is a warm medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
