When essential oils are inhaled, messages are transmited to the limbic system and affect heart rate, stress level, blood pressure, breathing, memory, digestion, and the immune system.
Our Aromatherapist at the Westoe Practice, South Shields will use gentle massage to apply the oils, which are carefully selected and blended to suit individual needs.Each essential oil has different healing properties. For example, some calm while others energize. Here are some widely used essential oils and their properties;
