Ultracrete coverTEC Class B125 pedestrian access covers are 3rd party certified by Lloyds British to comply with EN124: 1994 and offer a superior solution for use in footpaths and cycle lanes, or where occasional vehicular access is required. Other uses include traffic signals, street lighting, telecommunications, cable television, CCTV, valve chambers and utilities.
- Safe - anti-slip surface: has a better slip resistance value than metal covers when wet, dry or worn state. Anti-slip value in excess in excess of HA104/09 requirements.
- Thermal insulation - coverTEC covers have a very low coefficient of thermal conductivity compared to metal covers. Surface of cover will not become hot in direct sunlight.
- Lightweight - ease of removal/replacement, enables a 'one man job', slide rather than lift out of the frames. Low wear characteristics.
