Red Box Lower Limb Orthotics: 311 "Fold-over" Hinged Knee Brace - Large
Indications:
Moderate to severe ACL and PCL instabilities (grade II - III)
Medial and lateral ligamentous laxity
Torn meniscus
Knee reconstruction (cruciate ligament)
Suitable for unusual leg shapes and for geriatric/ arthritic users, who don't have the grip or strength to pull on a knee brace
Features:
Front of brace opens for easier fitting
Patients with excessive odema/ haematoma can adjust brace as swelling stabilises
Covered polycentric-toothed metal hinges
Hinge stop-lock at 180° to help prevent hyperextension
Measurements at:
Above knee 45-48cm - Centre knee 39-42cm - Below knee 35-39cm
