Description
Timber is sourced from managed, sustainable Scandinavian forests, where annual incremental growth exceeds annual felling. The standard raw material is spruce (European whitewood), although the more porous pine (European redwood) is used when through and through pressure impregnated preservative treatment is specified. Hardwood timber species can also be specified to special order.
All production is carried out under quality controlled conditions in accordance with BS 5268: Part 2: 1996 as well as BS EN 385 and 386 - manufacturing standards for glued laminated timber.
