Description
The UBH series of carton presentation systems consist of a carton conveying system with a box filling unit. They are specifically designed to work in conjunction with a Comcount Automatic Weigher to form an integrated carton filling system and due to their high speed throughput are most suitable for use in conjunction with twin head weighers such as the Comcount Model 25.
Empty cartons are loaded onto the infeed conveyor, and are held in a queue before the filling position to form a reservoir of cartons. They are indexed forward automatically, filled by the weigher and ejected onto an outfeed gravity track. The system includes an automatic reject station to separate cartons whose contents exceed or do not meet the specified criteria.
Most efficient use is thus made of a single operator, since operations such as erecting empty cartons or closing, labelling and palletising full cartons can be performed while the machine continues cycling.
